I love Old Salem! I have such fond memories from my childhood of taking school field trips to this historic site. It was a bright and beautiful, late spring day and all around, a perfect day to take photos! When I photograph families, particularly those with small children, I think its important to let kids be kids. Towards the end of our session, we walked into an open field that was full of marigolds and cover. I was able to capture some really sweet and natural moments of the boys picking flowers for their mom. Children change so fast during the early years, it is so important to capture those moments!
