Baby Jenna was born in early April. Jenna’s mom wanted some simple poised newborn photos of her daughter. When I shoot newborn portraits, I like to keep things as simple as possible and work with the baby mood. If the baby doesn’t want to go into a particular position or wear a particular prop, then we don’t use it. I’m all about keeping the baby and mom happy. Poised sessions can last up to 3 hours, keep in mind most of that time is not actually used for photographing, but is time that the mom will use to feed and pacify her baby. I do offer lifestyle portraits which are much more relaxed and tend to be easier for mom and baby. For a lifestyle session, I will come to your home and photograph mom and dad with baby, these are candid photographs. I will document the beautiful moments of everyone interacting with your new addition and I will also  get a few simple poised photos of the baby.
